Rowan Rides Rajasthan - ONE DAY LEFT!
For some reason I am a glutton for punishment. One day after riding from London to Oxford (60 miles) which I hasten to add, I sucked at! I thought it would be a great idea to do a charity challenge, on a bike in India. The ride is in February and it is over 300 miles which means that I may need to swap the chocolate bars for carrots and start exercising more than once a month!
The good news however is that I am doing it for a very worthy cause – The Honeypot Charity. Honeypot provides breaks for vulnerable children and young carers. These are children who are often living on or below the poverty-line and caring for a loved one who is often dependent on their support 24/7. This means that these children don’t often get the chance to have a break. Honeypot offers these kids yearly breaks and three annual out-reach visits from the age of 5-12 consistently, enabling them to have support throughout their formative years.
I have set my fundraising target at £3,000 and would love to reach it with your help (and a few hare-brained fundraising ideas I have got on the boil). Please give what you can and help me raise money for this very worthy cause.
Thank you!
