I have been watching the news with an increasing feeling of sick despair. So many vulnerable children - April Jones, the victims of Jimmy Saville, Children in Welsh Children Homes. Unimaginable horror.

I decided that rather than sit there & feel hopeless, I would do something constructive. With social services cuts I am increasingly turning to Barnados for support at work. I know they work to support families & children & make a significant difference to many vulnerable children's lives every day. They are well worth running a long way for.
