ShelterBox work to ensure that vulnerable families around the world have life-saving emergency shelter, and other essential tools and aid items, after disaster strikes. Be it an earthquake, flood, conflict or hurricane, we are there for those most in need.

Wow, we've done it!

77 days 9 hrs 25 mins

And what an eventful trip.

But storms, huge waves, gale force winds, losing a Rowgirl, breaking the rudder and being attacked by a shark didn't stop us! Neither did a broken watermaker, a hole in the boat and water damaged food.

Yep we're as amazed we got across alive as you are!

All of this is documented in our website dispatches, so check out www.rowgirls.com.

The fundraising doesn't stop though. We are still raising money for an extraordinary charity called Shelterbox; they put together green crates containing a ten man tent, sleeping bags, a multi-fuel stove and other useful kit and send them out to people who desperately need shelter.

Thousands have been sent all over the world from Tsunami hit Sri Lanka and Thailand to refugees in Africa. Please help us to raise enough money to buy 100 boxes. They cost £490 each, so that's £49,000...simple!

We rowed hard, so please dig deep,

Lots of love,

The Rowgirls x
