Virgin London Marathon 2011 · 17 April 2011 ·

Every two hours, someone in the UK will become paralysed. Globally, it is estimated that 15.4 million people are living with paralysis. At Spinal Research our vision is to create a world where paralysis can be cured, no matter when the injury occurred or where in the world.

Story

Dear All,

We are taking on the massive challenge of running the London Marathon to raise funds for the charity Spinal Research - they are funding pioneering research to develop treatments to repair the spinal cord which will help people like Paul (Helen's Brother) to regain sensation and mobility.

We are aiming to raise at least £3,400 for the charity and this is where you come in! Please sponsor us using this secure online site.

Obviously we urge you to be as generous as possible, but we would really appreciate any donations to help us reach our sponsorship goal. Thank you so much for supporting us in our challenge.

Ps. You can find further information about spinal research at: www.spinal-research.org
