After the tragic Tsunami and Earthquake in Japan 2 weeks ago, my football team has decided to do our annual charity football match for the Japanese people. Each year we rent out a local stadium, get some referees, get a crowd and play a 90 minute game of football with activities on the day and all funds raised go to the charity.

Last year we did it for Macmillans Cancer Trust and raised £300. This year we've decided to try and raise as much as we can in the wake of the disaster for Japan.

We have rented out the Hillingdon Sports Arena and this event will be taking place on Sunday April 17th from 11:30am - 16:00. We will have professional referees and linesmen and we have received official recognition from the FA for this game. Of course, this is mainly aimed at people in London or nearby to London.

This thread is basically an invitation to anyone who lives in the area or nearby and wants to attend or make a donation to the cause. We hope you can all try and wish us luck in our quest to raise as much money as we can for the Japanese.
