I have set up this page in memory of all the brave Royal Marines
who have lost their lives at war, it is a charity that can make a world of difference to all the people left behind when they lose a loved one. Especially with so many Royal Marines in Afghanistan at the moment it is a charity close to the nations heart.

I think you will agree sending christmas cards is a complete waste of time, money, resources and trees!! Therefore I am asking you to kindly give the money you would normally spend on christmas cards and postage to The Royal Marine Benevolent Fund and let all your friends and family know by sending them an email / text / facebook or Bebo message and a link to this site in hope that they will do the same :)

The RMBF was formed to relieve need, distress or hardship suffered by any person who is serving, has served or is a dependant of a Royal Marine, irrespective of rank. It also provides immediately on the death of either a serving RM or a reservist on duty a sum of money for the next of kin to help them cope with any pressing financial matters.
