Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. In early May a group of 15 fortysomethings are going to hit the road on a 240-mile journey from London to Paris over 3 days. Most of us haven't ridden any real distances for a long long time. It will be painful!

The Shooting Star Hospice, based in Hampton Surrey, provides a range of care services for children and young people with life-limiting conditions and their families. The services make a real difference to families who find themselves in unimaginable circumstances. Shooting Star's services are provided to families free of charge, 365 days a year. It costs £3 million every year (£8,000 a day) to maintain these care services, and with no long-term statutory funding, the majority of this comes from voluntary donations.
