Flora London Marathon 2009 · 26 April 2009 ·

1 in 100 people have coeliac disease, yet only 36% are diagnosed. Coeliac UK empowers everyone affected, breaking down barriers, improving everyday life, offering trusted support and advancing research towards a cure. And we do it all so that one day, no one’s life will be limited by gluten.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

It's taken me 4 attempts, but I finally got a place for the London Marathon in April 2009.  I have run several 1/2 marathons over the past few years, but this will be my first attempt at 26 miles.

I am raising money for 2 charities (Coelic Society and Michael Sobell).  This one is for Coeliac Society, and I've chosen it because my 2 year old niece is a coeliac.  If you want to know more about the disease, here's a link to the web site: http://www.coeliac.org.uk/
