Kilimanjaro Climb · 18 March 2008

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising site.

Starting on 6th June 2008, I will be climbing to the top of Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa’s tallest mountain at 5,895 meters (19,340 ft), in support of the St. Andrews Hospice in Lanarkshire.

St. Andrew's is Lanarkshire's only Hospice and is open to all, without distinction of race, gender or creed.  All services are provided free of charge to the patient. The annual running costs are approximately £4.2 million of which nearly £2.2 million has to be raised each year from public donations, this is approximately £39,000 per week.
So, please help support this facility by donating generously and make my climb as worthwhile as possible!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: St. Andrew's Hospice, Lanarkshire will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

Many thanks for your support.
