Every year In remembrance of my cousin Anand, his friends and family organise a sponsored walk... This year the walk will take place on Sunday, 5th July 2009 at Virginia Waters between 10:30am to 2:00pm.

Each lap equates to 5 miles & I will commit to complete 3 circuits or more!

This year it has been dedicated to women of rural India. The funds raised by you all will be donated to Action Village India, a UK based charity organization (Reg. No. 1118845), who are funding, supporting and closely working with several Indian NGOs on various projects in rural India for women’s welfare: 'Girls Education' programme for teenage girls in Bihar & Jharkhand, 'Self-help Groups' of women in villages of Tamilnadu, women and children’s health programmes in Tamilnadu and 'organic gardening in Kerala are just some examples.

Since we began this event, I have raised almost £900 through your donations! It's a great cause and a great group of people! So if you are able to give just a little then please do so...
