The RSA is a national charity providing vital support and advice to sufferers and their carers. It aims to promote a greater awareness of Raynaud's and scleroderma; raises funds for research and welfare projects and improves communication between doctors and patients.

Story

Although we have reached our Cool Million target we are leaving our Just Giving page open in order for donations to still be made.  The Cool Million appeal was launched in 2010 by our founder member, Anne Mawdsley MBE. The fantastic achievement of reaching this has only been possible due to the generosity of our supporters – THANK YOU.

The money is being used (and will continue to be used in the future) to fund projects in the UK dedicated to finding out more about the management and understanding of Raynaud's and scleroderma in areas identified by patients.

Projects which members originally requested and which are in progress include calcinosis, gut and bowel problems and investigations into the lungs in scleroderma. If you have Raynaud’s or scleroderma and would like to make suggestions about what YOU feel are the most important areas of research, we would like to hear from you. Ideas will be considered and decisions made by the RSA Trustees as part of the work aimed at raising awareness and generating action across the UK medical profession to help find better treatments and ultimately a cure.

THANK YOU.
