Great Gorilla Run 2007 · 22 September 2007 ·

With just over 1000 mountain gorillas left in the world and 3 subspecies now critically endangered it is vital we do everything we can to save gorillas from extinction. We protect them from poachers, safeguard their forest home and improve livelihoods in local communities. Will you join us?

Story

Have a heart!  Save the gorillas! Sponsor the RSVP Cupids (www.rsvpintroductions.co.uk ) - Anne, Kerry and Theresa - to run the Great Gorilla Run in London on September 22nd, raising much needed funds for gorilla conservation for the Gorilla Organization.

Why help us help the mountain gorillas?

There are only around 700 mountain gorillas left and they are nearing extinction.  The money we raise will go towards protecting the gorillas in their native habitat.  We can't let these gentle giants become extinct.

By helping the gorillas we also help the local communities.  The gorillas need rangers to protect them, guides and porters to take tourists to see them.  The tourists also bring much needed cash to the area and provide further jobs.

 - Surely it's worth it to see us make a fool of ourselves dressed as gorillas
