Deep RiverRock Belfast City Marathon 2012 · 7 May 2012 ·

The Link works with vulnerable and at risk individuals, many of whom experience deprivation, exclusion or loneliness. We provide a range of facilities, programmes and support for young people; older people; children and young parents; migrant workers; people experiencing chronic addiction to alcohol; and churches and community groups wishing to engage in community and good relations work. Our work is underpinned by community development principles and our mission is to seek to accept and value individuals as they are, enabling them to recognise their self worth and encouraging them to achieve their full potential.

Story

I work for these people so I'm biased but the work done for young people in Newtownards by Project 23 is invaluable. But we need support. So I took the drastic steps of donning lycra based clothing and then another drastic step of signing up for the Belfast Marathon in order to raise awareness and to raise funds. Please support and give generously!
