I'd be grateful for anything you could give to help bump up Erin's fundraising total and motivate me past that finish line! I haven't run 13.1 miles before so I'm excited but also keen to raise the funds to make it worth it! Alder Hey help so many children including Erin and her good friend Anya, and we want them to help many more.

In December 2012 Erin Cross was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia. She had been poorly for some time and had been misdiagnosed with Asthma.

She has endured four rounds of intensive chemotherapy and is now on her Maintenance Cycle until September 2014. It has been an extremely painful journey but finally things seem to be getting a bit easier.

Since she has been diagnosed friends and colleagues have got together to raise funds for Alder Hey Children's Charity in Erin's name and so far nearly £10,000 has been raised.

Erin, her family and friends are trying to raise as much money as possible for Alder Hey Children's Charity and Erin has been picked to represent their new campaign.

Erin's team also help other charities and appeals and arrange special treats for Erin and her friends.
