Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I will be completing the Bupa London 10,000 on Sunday 27th May.

Josh was finally diagnosed with Autism in December 2011. This didn't come as a shock, however the news was heartbreaking. If you know Josh you will be familiar with this cheeky smile and generally happy outlook on his own world.

Autism is a condition that affects the way Josh's mind processes information. He struggles with communicating and social situations, however he is a very happy boy who thrives on those around him. Josh also has difficulties learning which means he needs extra support.

I am raising money for "harc" the Hertfordshire branch of the National Autistic Society who directly support people with autism and their carers in Hertfordshire. There is no quick fix or cure for autism, but with support there is no reason why a child such as Josh cannot achieve his potential whatever that maybe.
