I'm running the London Marathon this year for Marie Curie a charity selected by one of my best friends, Rose, who has Cancer.  Those of you that know Rose will know that she doesn't give up and keeps fighting no matter what this horrible disease, and all the associated treatment, throws at her. In fact those of you that know her really well will know that actually the Cancer doesn't stand a chance of beating her because it's more scared of her than she is of it, and it's right to be scared!!

I am running for Marie Curie because Rose wanted me to, not because she thinks she will need them any time soon because she won't.  She will keep fighting and winning, but this is for all the other people that can't fight and win anymore.  That's really all I need to say.
