Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Please help me to raise as much money as possible for this charity as it is a very rare disease and does not receive the publicity of other bigger charities.

On the 22nd of April 2012 I will be running the London Marathon in aid of 'GLYCOGEN STORAGE DISEASE'. (AGSD)

My Granddaughter Megan who is 8 was born with Glycogen Storage Disease Type lX.

Most cases of GSD Type IX are from X-linked inheritance and thus affect males only. However, GSD Type IX can be inherited in an autosomal recessive manner, in which case both male and female children of two carriers have a 25% chance of having the disease, Making Megan a very rare case!

If you would like to find out more about GSD, please follow the link on my page!
