Story

I don't know about you, but I take it for granted that when I turn on the tap in the morning, I'll get clean, fresh water. Nearly one billion people don't have that luxury.

Scrap that. Clean water is a right, not a luxury, and I find it shocking that, in this day and age, hundreds of millions of people don't have access to something so fundamentally important to good health.

Let's face it, would you expect your friends, your family, your children, to drink water you've collected from a muddy puddle, or from a stream that also serves as a sewage outflow, or from stagnant pools that carry cholera?

That's why I'm running 2,012 Kilometres in 2012, to raise £12,000 to buy 12 wells in 12 countries.

Please can you help me to give others access to clean water?
