Everybody, at some point in their life, will be affected by cancer; either directly or indirectly.

This vicious disease must be stopped but that can only happen when we fully understand the causes. By helping to support the research into cancer you can make a difference, anyone can raise money for Cancer Research UK just contact your local offices (information can be found on their website) for ideas and get involved.

If just 1% of people in the country today raised £100 each that would be around £58,000,000 to fund research.

Run2Work week is something i intend to do every year as my way of supporting Cancer Research UK, anyone can join in, anywhere. Just pass the link of this sponsor site along to everyone you know and get your running shoes on!

The event itself is taking place between the 22nd-26th of September, during which time i will be running a total of 63 miles between my hometown of Morley and work in the centre of Leeds. However you don't need to be doing this kind of distance if you want to join in, it could be a mile a day or less, the point is you make an effort.
