Alzheimer’s Research UK is the UK’s leading dementia research charity. We’re striving for a cure, by revolutionising the way we treat, diagnose and prevent dementia.

Story

Thanks for visiting the fundraising page of Ben Goodhind, Rob Sell, Chris Fison and Jon Baker who are running the Bristol Half Marathon to raise money for the Alzheimer's Research Trust. You can sponsor us here safely and securely.

The Alzheimer's Research Trust is a charity that means a lot to us and Alzheimer's is an illness that effects many people yet this is a charity which is very underfunded. None of us have run a half marathon before and in fact none of us are really runners. The four of us all just want to do something special to raise the profile of the chairity, raise much needed funds and also achieve something special for ourselves in running over 13 miles. We are all taking it seriously and training hard and hope to get round in one piece.

We hope you can spare a few pounds for a good cause and im sure you will agree a big effort. Alzheimer's is a disease that will probably touch us all in some form and any help is greatly appreciated.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer's Research Trust gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor us now!
