<p><strong>Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</strong></p> <p><strong>I am doing a sponsored 10K run on the 25th September 2011 to raise much needed funds for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust. The trust is 6 million pounds short in funds so the research into Gene Therapy is now on hold ....this is our only hope of them finding a cure...... the average life expectancy is still only into the 30's.... NO parent wants to outlive their child so please please consider donating.</strong></p> <p><strong>We did Archies run last year and raised over &pound;3200 which was just amazing, however I didn't run it as I was 8 months pregnant ! So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my friends and friends of friends who took part in last years run and helped raise that amount of money. I have no excuse this year so I am doing it for my special little man Archie, who is not only an inspiration to my-self but all that know him, CF does not get him down, he is a little fighter and such a little character and I love the bones of him and will do anything to keep him fit and well for many years to come. I have never run before and up to 3 months ago i struggled to run a bath !! Now after 3 months of sweat, tears and aching legs going out 4/5 times a week at night after the boys are in bed I can now run 10K !!!
