Been there, Run it, Got the T-shirt and the Medal!
All four runners are safely home after a superb day despite the heat. Personal Bests all round with Peter finishing in 3.43 (proving that Philosan does fortify the over forties), Sam and Clare finishing together in 4.02 and JJ in 4.11 (Delayed by a Red Bull at Buckingham Palace, Sorry Your Majesty).
Huge thanks to all those who came along to cheer, it really helped lift us in the heat. As did meeting the Whizz Kidz themselves in Parliament Square, the enthusiasm and noise from the Kidz was deafening but carried us round to the Mall. The Noise and enthusiasm with which those youngsters greet the Whizz-kidz runners tell you how much the charity means to them and has done for them. We ran so that they would have more mobility, so please check down the back of your sofa and in your old pockets for anything no matter how little and help change lives.
