Rhiya was my beautiful two and a half year old niece who's life was tragically taken while in the care of her nursery. Our sad loss has left a hole in the hearts of everyone who knew her and loved her.

Rhiya was born on the 4th May 2005, 7 weeks premature. She was a healthy but a small baby that needed extra care, particularly with her feeding. We were so pleased when Rhiya was allowed to come home where she very quickly developed into the healthy princess that she was. Before Rhiya's birth, Rhiya's parents lost a little boy who was born too premature to survive. For this reason, having Rhiya in our family felt like a miracle.

In memory of my niece, I have chosen to take part in a marathon to raise money for the charity Bliss. This charity means a lot to us as it supports the care of premature babies that are born too early and often very unwell.

I hope that you will support me in my cause to raise money for Bliss in honour of my angel niece Rhiya.
