Story

Thanks for looking at my newest Justgiving page, and if you've been on one of my previous ones, thanks for looking again and donating. My latest fundraising venture is the Amsterdam marathon that me and my friend Ronan Owens are attempting on October 21st.  We're trying to raise money for the Oscar Knox appeal.  Oscar is 4 years old from Belfast and is fighting stage 4 neuroblastoma, an aggressive childhood cancer. He needs immunotherapy treatment to help stimulate his immune system, so that Oscar's own body should be able to recognise and attack the neuroblastoma if it was to return. This is always a worry with this deadly disease, where the relapse rates are high.  The treatment abroad that Oscar needs costs as much as £250,000.

The travel to Amsterdam, hotel and marathon entry fee are all self-funded by myself and Ronan so I can promise that every penny raised on this page goes straight to helping Oscar! Thanks once again for looking and hopefully you can spare some of your hard-earned, no matter how little to try and get us over the finish line and get Oscar the treatment he needs!
