So, I did it! I finished the race in a fairly respectable 4:10:45.
The weather wasn't ideal (may have been for those of you spectating, but try running in it!), but I somehow got round the course and had a lovely long shower at the end of it!
Thanks to those who watched and cheered the runners on.
Thanks also to those of you who have helped me raise a spectacular £1,700 (in addition to which we can also add a whopping amount from the tax man through Gift Aid). I am very lucky to have such good and generous friends to rely on for their support.
