Hello.

This time last year, the weather started to turn - the nights drew in, the sun hid it's happy face for weeks at a time, and all the while, I pushed myself to run a little bit further than I had done before, as I trained for the Great South Run 2008 and to raise money for charity.

This year, I'm back. And I've brought friends - Luke, Quinny and Jamie are all in training too - and we mean business. This year we're hoping to raise a whopping £2,000 for Naomi House!

So, don't make me pester you - just get out your wallets and give generously :)

Hi All,

If it weren't for the fact that Naomi House was such a fantastic charity, there is no way I'd be doing this! My health kick for the century was quitting smoking - as these days a bottle of wine is much more by idea of a great way to pass the time. I'm really hoping we can raise a huge amount for a great cause. I'm guaranteeing that I will die doing this, and am happy to email photos of me having done so following the run for you all to laugh at - so please give generously!

I hadn't even started at Netbasic when the call came from Luke 'Fancy a 10 mile run for charity.' Not wanting to be a wet lettuce I agreed and from today I plan on getting fit! I have sponsored Netbasic previously and now I am part of the team here it's good to get my hands dirty and do it for myself. Naomi house is a wonderful charity and to quote Robbie Williams 'We're doing it for the kids!' Please give generously.
