One lazy sunday morning back in April one housemate turns on the tv to see thousands of crazy fit people running through the streets of London (I would run if i found myself in Bermondsey). He turns to his mate and says 'Why the hell would anyone want to run a marathon?' 'Don't ask me', his friend replies 'is there any left over Pizza?' 'i don't think it would be that hard though' 'Nah, wouldn't be a problem'. Six months and a lot of pain later Fergie and I will find ourselves running, walking, limping, crying but certainly not smiling as we wind our way, 26 and a bit miles through the streets of Chicago. As is customary whenever someone puts themselves through pain there is a conscience easing exercise involved so i shall be running on behalf of Task Brasil, a charity dedicated to helping the lives of Brazil's street kids (more details to be found on their website http://www.taskbrasil.org.uk). Please read the description and the website and sponsor me with as much money as possible to help me reach my target!
