Some of you may know that I got ambushed at a Bedford Hospitals Charity dinner in February while enjoying a few drinks and foolishly got convinced to do the London 10k for this fantastic local charity. It seemed miles away at the time but it's fast approaching and I'm after your hard earned cash - better give it to charity than the MPs I say.

So here we are - please sponsor me whatever you can afford - the main current appeal the charity is fundraising for is called the Duckling Appeal and is for Bedford Hospital's maternity unit - so girls dig deep, you may be needing these facilities in a few years.
