Thank you for visiting the 'Run for CALM' fund raising page. The Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement, CALM, aims to improve the quality of life for both the children going through treatment, and the parents and families during and after treatment. CALM charity works largely from within the Swindon and Marlborough NHS Trust area.

Upcoming events:

Chippenham Half Marathon - Nearly all the team will be running Chippenham Half Marathon on the 12th of September, we are all hoping we make it round in one piece, maybe even improve on last years times! We are all hoping we can reach our target at this event.

Past Events:

Walkley Midnight Walk – Well, we did it!  Laura and I managed complete the course, all 20 miles of it in a little over 6 hours, rocking up at the Royal Oak pub for our breakfast at 10 past 5 in the morning. Our swift time must be credited to Laura setting a gruelling pace throughout over some difficult terrain at times, especially in the dark.

Swindon and Chippenham Half Marathons - The team successfully ran both Swindon and Chippenham Half Marathons in 2009 and will be running both again in 2010.
