Lucy has been given wonderful care in the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit at the Freeman Hospital and is also receiving care from the Children’s Kidney Unit from Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle. CHUF'S aim is to raise money to buy equipment, facilities, aftercare and research for the Children's Heart Unit and the PICU at the Freeman Hospital. The Children and Young People’s Kidney Fund supports the unit by raising money for new and innovative medical equipment (Lucy is on one of these new and innovative dialysis machines), patient entertainment and activities, research projects, enhanced staff training and support.

Please support the boys as they “Run For Lucy” and support these two very worthwhile funds.  Lucy’s father Chris together with her uncles; Eoghan Rainey, Steven Boucher, Stephen Patterson and Chris Wylie have entered the Belfast Marathon on Monday May 6
