Motor Neurone Disease moves fast. It takes away time, it takes away independence and it has no cure. Every day we support people affected by MND. We fund ground-breaking research. We campaign for better care. We’re here for everyone who needs us. Because with MND, every day matters.

Story

Welcome to our fundraising page!

We're running the Royal Parks Half Marathon on 11 October 2009 in aid of the Motor Neurone Disease Association.

Ian Imrie was Nick's dad and passed away from this disease on 12 November 2007. He was a wonderful father, husband, brother, friend and a true gentleman. We miss him. He was a lover of the outdoors and sport... so we know that this would have made him smile and very proud.

Motor Neurone Disease (MND) is a neurodegenerative disease with no known cure. It leads to weakness and wasting of muscles. MND is typically fatal within 2-5 years and 50% die within 14 months of diagnosis.

Your donation will make a significant contribution to the Association in their attempt to fund research into a cure, more effective treatment and assisting in the care of those affected by the disease.

Thank you very much for your support!
