We change children’s lives every day by pioneering ground-breaking medical treatment in a comfortable & engaging environment at Sheffield Children’s. All the money raised helps create a healthier future for children & young people, funding projects that are over & above the standard NHS provision.

Story

Hi there it's Leanne here

For those of you that don't know, my stepson Jack Faulkner tragically passed away late last year after a short battle with brain cancer. This has obviously had a devastating effect on all of Jack's family and friends.

Jack spent around 6 months in total being looked after by the wonderful staff at Sheffield Children's Hospital. It was on Ward 5 specifically where he spent the initial 3 months, every night for 82 nights.

A few of us have committed to run Sheffield 10K to try and raise more money to go to this wonderful organisation.

Runners contributing to this fundraising effort include Leanne Faulkner, Louise Haywood, Pete Haywood, Ciara Wall, Ellis Wall, Michelle Cooper & Kerry Scotney

We know the money will be well spent and will help other children and families that are unfortunate enough to find themselves in similar situations.

Every pound counts, please donate what you can and share with all your contacts.
