Story

Thank you for stopping by my donations page. I am an ultra distance runner and fundraiser having run 874 miles from John O'Groats to Lands End in 2007 raising £34,108 and then 3100 miles across the USA raising £105,322 in 2011.

Starting on October 16th 2013 I will be setting off from Perth Western Australia on a 2600 mile run to Bondi Beach in Sydney. This journey will take 70 days to complete, finishing on Christmas Eve 2013.

Details of my training, the actual run itself and all the tomfoolery that goes with it can be found on www.rungeordierun.com.

The run across Australia has a very high degree of difficulty and risk. I will be running across some of the most inhospitable terrain on the planet many miles from any major town or city. With that in mind, I would really appreciate it if you would consider sponsoring me. Any donation made, in aid of The Sir Booby Robson Foundation, no matter how large or small, will be greatly appreciated.

In September 2012, I visited the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Trials Research Centre. I was absolutely blown away by the place and also some of the future plans that they have. Please see this link for further details.

Thanks in anticipation of your kind support.
