Spartans.....good at fighting init!? - stands to reason then that they'd be pretty good at running as well.......

We made it into the Nottingham Evening Post as well - read the online version here

So, the plan is this.  This all male group of selected Spartans - all students, graduates and friends of Nottingham Trent University - is taking part in the Robin Hood HALF Marathon and towing a chariot behind us! - we haven't got time to do the full marathon cos we're off to Thermopylae in the evening to have it out with some Persian Xerxes fella.

We're running in aid of the Lymphoma Association, a charity that offers support and care to sufferers of Lymphatic Cancer and their families.  It's a charity that we're backing by way of support for all the brave people who it works so hard to help and it particularly means something more to a good friend of ours.
