About my charity : The Peace Hospice The Peace Hospice
The Peace Hospice brings peace, comfort and dignity to patients and families facing the crisis of cancer and other terminal illnesses. We focus on enabling patients to live their lives to the full and providing the best quality of life when a cure is not possible. Our care is holistic helping with emotional and spiritual issues as well as physical symptoms through our inpatient, day and outpatient care, hospice at home service and bereavement support. All our care is provided free of charge. We are reliant on voluntary income for 75% of our funding with only a quarter from the NHS, therefore donations from the community are vital to support the care we give.

Once you spend time at the hospice with the patients and their families, you realise how important the service is.

At anytime, one of us could need it. The work the staff do is phenomenal. It gives me a lift everytime I visit.
