Stroud Half Marathon 2009 · 25 October 2009 ·

We deliver mobile cancer care. We are dedicated to driving cancer care forward, bringing vital cancer care closer to thousands of patients. Through donations, we build and maintain mobile cancer care units, and together with the NHS, we want to help as many cancer patients as possible.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

If you prefer not to donate on line, then either see me personally or send me a email (pmchapman14@googlemail.com). ANY SIZE OF DONATION IS WELCOME!

I am running Stroud Half Marathon on the 25th October for my good friend Andrew Best who is 24 years old and suffering from terminal cancer. He is keen on rasing money to help others like him. All funds raised will go to Hope for Tomorrow, a charity that funds mobile chemotherapy units. These units greatly reduce the stress involved for people like Andy who are undergoing cancer treatment.

As Andy says "The chemo bus is brilliant. Before that, I was going into hospital for maybe 15 hours but with the bus you are on and off it in about three hours"
