Story

Running for Dad is back for 2012 and this it's bigger, and further, than ever.

Last year thanks to your generosity I managed to raise over £1000 running the Alloa half marathon for Alzheimer Scotland, a charity close to my heart that supports sufferers of alzheimers and other forms of dementia and their families cope with the effects of this terrible disease.

This year, I'll be running the 26 miles of the London Marathon on 22nd April in memory of my Dad.

Now, since I am going the extra mile, or 13 extra miles to be precise, I hope you will be kind enough and do the same by giving as much as you can to this great cause.

The distance has doubled, and so has the fundraising target. So while I get on with training to try to achieve a 4 hour marathon can I ask you to share this with as many people as possible.

The more we raise, the more families Alzheimer Scotland will be able to help just as they helped mine.

Thank you.
