Hola!

This summer I will be part of a team of students from Ireland going to work with AGEUP (the Peruvian IFES movement). We will be working in San Martin ( a shanty town without running water and electricity where we helped build a community centre last year), in Lima with students teaching English, and will spend two long weekends doing some reconstruction in Ica, devastated by an earthquake last year.

The partnership with AGEUP is now in its second year, it was  real privilege to be part of the team last year. In February we were able to send the offering from one of our Irish student conferences to AGEUP to assist them as they responded to the earthquake and seek to bring life and hope to students and communities in Peru.

As part of fundraising for the team I will be running the Lisburn 10k on 18 June, and if you are able to sponsor me I would be very grateful.
