Yesterday was a tough day....

I should have been throwing a birthday party for my beautiful daughter who had turned 4. Instead, I cried myself to sleep thinking about what should have been;

What she would have been like, what crazy questions she would have been asking me and how much she would have loved her little sister.  But most of all how much I miss her.

Rowan lost her fight with Spinal Muscular Atrophy the leading genetic killer of under 2's at just 18 months old. Running over the months and years has become my space to think or not to think as the case may be.

This year I am running the British 10K for the same charity we have supported since Rowan left us - THE SMA TRUST
