Story
Following last years raging success in the 2009 Flora London Marathon, Tim is planning to run the 26.2 miles again being joined this year by Steve Moss and Tom Pigott-Smith. We were completely shocked and stunned by the generosity of so many people, people like you, who took the time to read the reasons behind our challenge and dig deep to support our wonderful charity. Altogether last year we raised just over £25,000. Yes, that’s £25,000.
Running for Rupert 2010 is our marathon team name representing the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust, which is a subsidiary charity of the Disabilities Trust. Both of these organisations work tirelessly to offer a better quality of life to people who live with brain injury and general disability. These are people who really do suffer. Our suffering will begin and end on Sunday April 25 when we join around 50,000 other runners, all with their own personal challenges to complete the marathon course.
Last year’s huge total was solely down to many people donating what they could spare. Thank you! If you were one of them..... could we ask the same again? If you’re hearing about the Running for Rupert cause for the first time, read on and dig deep (please).

Thanks from Magnus....
2009 was an amazing year. Seeing Roops playing his horn in our inaugural ‘Running For Rupert’ concert was an incredible moment in my life. The concert alone raised £10,000. Thanks to everyone who made that evening so special. There will be another one this year...... Watch this space!
I realise that this is the third year that we’re asking for your support in helping us raise money for the Brain Injury Rehabilitation trust - your support over the past two years has been immense - brain damage is a cruel, cruel existence - carrying on this support will help us continue to raise significant sums of money to help people like Rupert and all the other patients out there whose lives have been so tragically affected by brain injury.
