Hello all
As many of you know I have been training hard over the past few months for the Norwich half marathon. Why do something crazy like that I hear you say? Its winter, its cold, its rainy - you're mad! people have said. Well, aside from loving a challenge and being slightly addicted to exercise, I'm doing it to raise money for a fantastic charity.
The Hamlet Centre, its staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide services and support to children and young people in Norfolk with special needs. Its especially close to my heart as my sister Hannah (a special needs teacher) has work there part time as Youth Club Leader for several years now. I regularly hear funny and beautiful stories about the children and what a difference the centre makes to their lives.
Its a place full of fun, joy and laughter so please, did deep, don’t be shy and help me help the Hamlet Centre continue its outstanding work. Lets face it, I'm doing all the hard work here!!! You are probably reading this in a warm house, on a cosy sofa while i am getting blisters, sore legs and bloody cold!
