Hello!

I'm running my first half marathon on 13th December this year, in a very hilly area (doh!) just south of Nottingham, and raising money for Cancer Research UK. I'm fully expecting this run to kill me, and will keep a blog on my training progress if I think anyone will read it in the hope that it will reveal I'm improving at the running thing and might, afterall, not suffer too much on the 13th, and that it'll give me a good excuse to stuff myself silly come Christmas. Afterall, this is the "Turkey Trot"!
