The Kilworth Challenge 2012 will soon be upon us and having said 'for one year only', two years ago, we decided that despite the pain, anguish and frustration, we enjoy it so much that we had to do it again this year! If you don't know anything about The Kilworth Challenge, it is a 2 day event, where around 40 teams of 4 people cover over 25 miles, participating in 30 or so challenges along the way.   These challenges can be physical and/or mental, ranging from a 1 mile yomp and a full on assault course to quizzes and krypton factor style puzzles. Hopefully you can get a flavour of what it is all about from our pictures or, for any info on The Challenge, check out the website <a href="http://www.thekilworthchallenge.org/">www.thekilworthchallenge.org</a> As much fun as it is competing in The Kilworth Challenge, the main aim of this event is to raise money for some great causes. The Challenge supports organisations whose main aims are to provide outdoor activities for those who through disability or other ways are less fortunate. All the information about the charities and organisation that are supported by the challenge, including Dukes Barn and Over The Wall, can be found on the website. Last year the event raised over £85,000 of which we are proud to have contributed just over £6,000 and over £10,000 in the 2 years we have done the challenge. We are really grateful for all the support that we have had over the last two years in raising so much money for the challenge and any continued support is very much appreciated by everyone involved with Running On carling and JustGiving is a great way of donating.
