Well, I did it and I managed a personal best of 26 minutes 42 seconds so I was very pleased. The weather was cooler than the past few weeks which was a relief.

It was a great turnout and nearly 2000 women ran on the day; the ages ranged from a tiny tot of 6 who ran the whole course to a great grandmother of 90 who walked around.

As you will see, with your support, I have already exceeded my target and if everybody who has made a pledge pays up then I expect the total to be over £800.
