Alzheimer Scotland is the leading, national dementia charity in Scotland. Our mission is to make sure nobody faces dementia alone. We provide advice, information and support and we are here for people living with dementia, their families and carers across Scotland.

Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for Alzheimer Scotland. I've chosen this charity after recent experiences of people with the condition.

My Mothers friend, Nancy Creber, who was in her 50's passed away a couple of weeks ago following a number of years suffering from Alzheimers. She received help and support from Alzheimer Scotland during this time, and it was appreciated with a thankyou at Nancy's funeral.

My Grandfather, John Kerr, has also been diagnosed with Alzheimers, he's now in his 80's, but up until a few years ago was in perfect mental health, having completed a Masters degree in his 70's. This condition has robbed him of his memory and has really affected the people that know him.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Alzheimer Scotland gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now, and visit my running site: http://www.runography.com

Thanks,

Eoan
