** UPDATE 9th November 2008 **

Well, I'm back!

I have to say that that was the most painful experience of my life.  Everything was fine until about 16 miles and then 'agony'!  When running up 1st Ave, I thought I'd torn a muscle and pulled up.  'Thankfully', it was only cramp.

The last 10 miles were a real stuggle and both legs cramped up about 3 or 4 times.  However, thanks to the amazing support (2 million people lined the streets) and also thinking about the money that everyone sponsored me, I was able to finish in 4 hrs 17 mins.  A top half finish!

All in all, an experience that will live with me for the rest of my life.
