None of us are renowned for our running, in fact the Leeds 10k in 2007 was the furthest any of us (Matt) have run for many years so it may suprise you that we're doing this 13 mile run.
For Matt this is practice for next years run when he will partake in the London Marathon 2009, for Jay and Neil it's simply a bit of fun (... if you can call it that !!)
So I hear you ask "Why?". Guy Francis is Matt's brother-in-law and since he lost his fight against Bone Cancer in 2002 we have tried to raise money for The Guy Francis Bone Cancer Research Fund. It is now one of several small charities who joined forces to become a National Charity – The Bone Cancer Research Trust.
This is Guy Francis' story - please take a few moments to follow the link and read about this amazing individual....

Please, please, please support me in any way you can:
Donations - The charity doesn't receive any Government funding so please give what you can, every penny counts so all donations, big and small, will be greatly appreciated. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Bone Cancer Research Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Please support us, else it's simply a waste of a weekend and alot of training !
Matt, Jay & Neil xx
