Phil is one ordinary man who runs some of the worlds toughest events! Phil Eccleston from Bolton has supported various Charities over 25 years of running raising huge amounts of money by doing what he loves most in life! Phil a NW Counties Championship Fell Runner in the early 90's went onto run for the Royal Air Force between 2001-2006 during his military career and now runs for Horwich RMI Harriers. He has finished some of the worlds toughest ultra distance events, walked from Lands end to John O Groats, finished 130 mile non-stop ultra marathons, completed over 100 marathons,ran through deserts and war-torn Countrys for others. His mental strength and the ability to push his body to the absolute limit testing every human emotion has seen him haled a local hero and an inspiration to the community. What gives Phil his motivation? By the generosity and support you give him, please give a little to show your support for his next adventure.
Yes yet again I am asking people to part with their hard earned cash and support me running another some might say “mad run” but remember it is all for a good cause and the most positive thing anyone can do for me is give a little through this page.
