As some of you know, I spent 4 months of my Gap year in Kenya, working on a charity project with Africa & Asia Venture. Whilst I was in Kasigau, SE Kenya, I met an ex 'AV' Charles Colman who returned to Kenya after graduating to set up a Primary school project and started www.africanpromise.org.uk/ The state of some of these remote schools are quite shocking; three to five children to one desk! The schools receive Government Funding of £6 per pupil PER YEAR. On average, there is one stinking, crumbling toilet for every 70 children. So, with your help, I aim to raise £2000 by cycling 500k from Montpelier SE France to Biarritz in in the West. As you read this, I will already have covered over 200k and managed 75k on day one. ( I am writing this standing up.) So please be generous and help this tiny but very effective and worthwhile charity. Thank You ........
