Welcome to my fund raising web site for the Ellenor Hospice "Thailand Jungle Expedition" in which I shall be taking part ( God  &  body willing ! )

My challenge is in memory of our very dear and courageous friend Madeliene.

My aim is to raise at least £ 5,000 for this local charity which provides hospice care at home and in hospital to patients of all ages living with life threatening illnesses. The care that their nurses provide at a time of great crisis for both  patients and their families is extraordinary . They deserve your support.

The 10 day expedition starts on 30th October 2008 and will take place in western Thailand's Kanchanaburi Province, location of the Infamous Death Railway and Bridge over the River Kwai. The challenge will take us through the rugged jungle and remote parts of the province close to the border with Burma.----Hopefully I won't get lost !
